• What Is Your Stance or Thoughts On The Subject “Laws of Attraction”?
Written on January 21 2009
Since the summer of 2006, my cousin Alfredo and I became intrigued by a documentary called What The Bleep Do We Know which covers Quantum Physics and The Laws of Attraction. Ever since then and reading several books, I’m a firm believe in this law. Whether one agrees with the law or not, does not disprove it. It is like any other law like gravity. If one decides to disbelieve the laws of gravity and jump, it wouldn’t cause it to not exist and allow them to fly. Don’t jump!
Some perceive this as a New Age trend, however, these ideas flow back to Buddha, Jesus, Plato, and other wise teachers before our time. Following theses teachings doesn’t challenge my faith either. In fact, it has a huge role in my Christian faith through the act of prayer. In scripture we are taught that “whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive” (Mathew 21:22). That is the fundamental idea of this law. We must realize there is order in the universe and we are in charge of our destiny. Our thoughts breed similar thoughts. Once we tune into negative thinking, similar thoughts seep through and we can either push it aside and change our frequency to positivity, or allow the negative thoughts to consume us.
The best way to understand this law is to treat ourselves as magnets. Life is not a series of random events despite how chaotic the world may seem. Our perception of the world is a reflection of our state of consciousness. I’ve learned and studied these ideas for some time, but have finally applied it to my life consciously. When I began anticipating good things, wonderful friendships, joyous events, everything kept flowing in that direction. However, once I allowed doubt and submitted to discouraging thoughts, chaos began to ensue.
It’s a wonderful law that I recommend others to read up on and attempt to implement in their lives. It really does wonders.
