When I first heard this song, I immediately fell in love with it. I think Shaun and Amy did a great job in their collaboration. Although the video isn’t the most to my liking, the song makes up for it. It was a love song and ex-boyfriend and I used to play too many times. The song is so beautiful and a favorite to this day.
The video tells a story of a woman reminiscing of a lost love. Sharon, as the woman at a younger age, walks through the house while memories follow. Despite the departure from her love, she holds the memories dear to her heart for comfort. The atmosphere and setting is very haunting and beautiful.
Originally wasn’t a big fan of Nickelback, but one night I decided to pay attention to the video. Afterward, I loved the video concept and message. The video shows life is short and we each should help one another in times of need – not for the acknowledgment or the reward, but for the simple fulfillment of saving someone’s life.
