It would have to be one of my favorite articles of clothing. Petticoats can be elegant, yet, flirtatious. Originally created as an undergarment, this fashion trend has been through many changes since it’s debut back in the sixteenth century. The petticoat has survived unpopular times to now being worn as a full skirt in alternative subcultures, such as Gothic and Lolita. It is one of the few trends to continue to revive its relevance to modern times. I want the fanlisting, baby.
