Here is a time-line of my web designing experience and the information from the major changes to the little kinks.
2000
January.
Got my first computer and connection to the Internet – was about time!
February.
I started a Nick Carter website, which later merged into a Backstreet Boys Fansite, using Angelfire.com. I used Internet Explorer and Notepad to manually create my sites. I learned HTML by reading code from other well produced sites and memorization.
2001
May.
I closed my Nick Carter and Backstreet Boys sites and decided to create a personal site named KissDaFlow. The name originated from a phrase used by my boyfriend at the time. I frequently transferred between different web server providers for the site due to needing more space. I worked with gURLpages, Geocities, and then went onto FreeWebs.
2004
July.
I had KissDaFlow up and running, somewhat on and off, for a little over three years. I wanted a new start, but most importantly, a new site name.
August.
I started Blessed Beauty by the end of the month. I didn’t have much time working on it since I was going through a transition — college.
2005
May.
Blessed Beauty had a makeover. It’s more interactive and more personal. I wanted to share a lot more stuff with everyone and anyone who cared. In addition to the personal site, I began to work on branching off into a Christian Apologetic site based upon my theology and philosophy research.
2006
April.
I bought my very own domain and re-opened Blessed Beauty. Over the course of two years, I’ve improved in Photoshop and learned PHP, CuteNews, and WordPress to better the site and add more fun content.
December.
I opened my first fanlisting titled Chaos for tv sit-com Complete Savages, which was also approved by The Fanlistings Network.
2007
November.
Fansite for my favorite actor and director Mel Gibson was officially opened eventually titled Gibbo Fan.
2008
February.
Revamped and now managed via WordPress.
June.
Transferred from BlueHost server to HostMonster, uploaded a fresh new layout called Angelina, The Musical, and purchased GibboFan.net.
October.
Blessed Beauty gets a major re-vamp. After my excellent organizational skills, each significant subject received its own division and unique layout to give the site diversity. This resulted in the personal blog section titled La Bella Vita, a fanlisting collective titled With All The Pretty Flowers, an entertainment section derived from an old name titled Kiss, a Christian section titled Divine Intervention, and high quality design site titled BB Designs.
In late October, I adopted the fanlisting for The Cell titled Mind & Dream and opened the Surviving the Filthy Rich fanlisting dedicated to tv-series Privileged.
November.
I adopted five Evanesence fanlistings from Shattered (from TFN). Later in the month, I opened Blame It On Me for Lacrymosa, Endless for Eternal, and So Run for The Last Song I’m Wasting On You.
December.
Early December, I opened the remaining two Evanescence fanlistings titled Devoted for the song Anything For You and I Won’t Die For You for Lies (Remix).
2009
March.
I was approved and created a fanlisting titled I Don’t Care, dedicated to a Britney Spears song called Mannequin.
April.
Gibbo Fan gets a revamp.
May.
Blessed Beauty gets a mini makeover for convenience during a temporary layout. All subdomain blogs were combined into one to be more user friendly and for optimal web programming.
