Title: Sunshine Version: 7.0 Duration: October 1, 2008 – June 25, 2009
When I re-vamped Blessed Beauty, I wanted each vital category to have it’s own blog section. My personal blog would be called La Bella Vita, which can be translated from Italian as “a wonderful life” or “a beautiful life”. The title derived from a song by Lindsay Lohan off her second studio album, A Little Personal (RAW). Originally, I was using the song for a friendship video I had worked on during 2007. When it came down to naming the blog, it fit perfectly. The layout was inspired by summer with an upbeat bright vibe. Definitely a favorite to date.
Title: Angelina, The Musical Version: 6.0 Duration: June 19, 2008 – September 30, 2008
On my 22nd birthday, I had dinner with family and friends, then we headed to a local bar to mingle. Eventually, I got wasted to the point of musical theater bliss. I began singing and dancing along with everything I said. We all took a group photo that look convincingly enough like a poster for a musical. Since I have absolute love for Broadway, I thought the spin on the site to appear like my own little musical would be an adorable idea and great tribute to my friends.
Title: Optimistic Pessimist Version: 5.0 Duration: March 2, 2008 – June 18, 2008
I’m a huge fan of Paramore and Hayley’s amazing voice. This song was one of my instant favorites on their most recent album, Riot!. The image used is of a friend, Jessica, and I at the Italian Festival after getting henna tattoos. While editing the image, I began to incorporate the lyrics and heartbreak effects. This layout has a grunge-style that I’ve never used before and I thought it would be a fresh new look for the site.
Title: Temporary Solution Version: 4.1 Duration: October 21, 2007 – March 1, 2008
While trying to work on a new layout, some files were accidentally deleted. So, I made this simple layout in place during the transition.
The layout featured a playful photo of my cat of fifteen years Gizmo. He was the bestest.

Title: Dream Version: 4.0 Duration: July 7, 2007 – October 20, 2007
The main image of the layout was a picture I had taken about three years ago. Initially, I intended to create a blue mystical look for the site, which I’ll most likely attempt another time. I found the image, effects, and decoration to look best with a burgundy theme. It was one of more basic simple layouts, yet, a very purdy one.

Title: Eat Your Heart Out Version: 3.0 Duration: November 15, 2006 – July 6, 2007
The inspiration for the layout derived from a drawing of mine, which later inspired a poem I wrote during that summer. I’ve heard others use the idiom “eat your heart out” as an expression that they can do it better than another. I decided to use the phrase as a literal term for the drawing and I began writing the poem. The poem was written to an ex-boyfriend as an expression of my rage for all that he’s done to my heart. I thought the line, that is featured on the image, was the most clever within the poem and became a favorite of mine.
Title: Little Red Riding Hood Version: 2.0 Duration: August 2006 – November 14, 2006
The layout originally featured me, yet, I felt it would give a self-centered vibe towards visitors. I decided to search and change the image. Quickly, I found stills from Call Me When You’re Sober. I wasn’t a fan of the single, however, I thought Amy looked beautiful in the music video. Her outfit and makeup fit perfectly with my black and burgundy color scheme. I found a line within the song that described a particular aspect of my life at the time. For navigation, I used the five senses, which I thought would be unusual since I’ve never seen it done on another site before. I decided to create a fresh new layout for two reasons: 1) I wanted a brighter color scheme, and 2) My cousin expressed how the layout portrays my page as an Amy Lee fansite.
Title: Black Ink Version: 1.0 Duration: April 2, 2006 - August 2006
The screencap of this layout is missing. It was a variation of Little Red Riding Hood, however, had a photo of me. I had changed the layout to feature Any Lee instead since I felt it may seem self-absorbed. LOL
